Today’s thoughts!

The President of the United States has been impeached for the second time in the House of Representatives. The impeachment resolution the House voted on charges Trump with a single article, "incitement of insurrection" for his role in last week's deadly Capital riot. -CNN. The process will continue to the Senate but most likely will miss the cutoff windows to complete the impeachment articles before President Trump’s term ends January 20.

My thoughts leave me to believe that the Senate will not be able to continue impeachment proceedings and choose to leave the case as is and close without anything escalating. The president has a right to mount a defense and demonstrate his or her innocence. We will see what happens next!
